Announcing The Toronto Pet Daily's Biggest Photo Contests Yet!

It's been a while, so to make up for lost time, I figured why not have two photo contests at the same time. Guess what? They're both HUGE, with our biggest prizes yet! Best of all, your pooch may be featured in one of two 2013 calendars to be released later this year (with proceeds going to charity of course). Due to the work toward this endeavour, these two contests will be running longer than usual, but don't worry......once the judges have determined the top entries, as usual you will be voting for your favourite entries!

Here are the details :

Contest #1 : "The Toronto Pet Daily Rescue Me Photo Contest"

For this contest, we are promoting pet rescues, much like last year's "Tribute To Rescues" contest. Whether it's a bird, dog, cat, rabbit, or elephant (okay maybe not), we want you to share your amazing stories of how your rescues have enriched your lives. Let's start celebrating those rescues & get others out of shelters!

Prizes :

1st Place : The winner of this contest will receive $500 cash, and their pet will be featured on the cover of "The Toronto Pet Daily 2013 Rescue Calendar".

2nd Place : Your pet(s) will win an awesome photo session ($150 value) courtesy of Matthew Joseph Photography, and be featured in the calendar.

3rd Place : $30 gift certificate to ARTSYDOG, where you can purchase some awesome accessories, and your pet(s) featured in the calendar.

Each of the 9 other finalists will have their pet featured on one of the calendar pages.

Contest #2 : "The Toronto Pet Daily Pug Pics Contest"

Got a Pug? Odds are you are vehemently against shameless self promotion when it comes to your pooch. If anything, Pug people are extremely private when it comes to sharing images of their precious dogs, and do what they can to ensure that their poochies are kept secretive, nary to be seen in public forums. I implore you, for this contest, to get over this mindset & do what's best : SHOW OFF YOUR TORONTO PUGS! I promise it'll be worth it. Here's what you can win :
