One Of The Most Heartwarming Things I've Ever Read - Rescued Pets Bond After The Recent Tornado In Kansas

The  story begins with the rescuers finding this poor little guy they named Ralphie.  Someone had  already taken him under their wing but they weren't equipped to  adopt.
Ralphie,  scared and starved, joined his rescuers...
I wouldn't think anything could live through this.... but we were  wrong.
This little lady also survived that wreckage.
Here  she is just placed in the car - scared, but safe.
and  then..they are no longer alone!
Instant  friends, they comforted each other while in the car.
Add two more beagles found after that...
the  more, the merrier!
Oh  boy, a new traveler to add to the mix...
(Note:  the cat coming over the seat needing shelter...)
Now just how is this going to work? (and remember they are all strange to one  another )
It's  going to work just fine, thank you very much!
Wow!  The things we learn from our animal friends...
If  only all of mankind could learn such
valuable lessons as this.
Lessons of instant friendship.
Of peace and harmony
  by way of respect
for one another -- no matter one's color
or  creed.
These animals tell you... "It's just good to be alive and with others."

Yes, it surely is !
So...Live, love, laugh.
  "Life's  a Gift... Unwrap It!"

  1. Ohmigod I love this. The story would have been wonderful alone but with the pictures it is even more wonderful. We could learn a lot from animals. If anyone ever says I act like an animal I will take it as the highest compliment a human could receive :)

  2. okay...this is a nice little story. but these photos are from Katrina, and even that's hard to say. I do know I saw these photos back during Katrina days and here's a small glimpse:

love how the internet becomes a game of "telephone" :)

there's the actual set of photos. I knew I'd find it... :) great photos, just wanted to clarify the source. :)

  4. Thanks Kim! I might as well keep it up as it makes for a sweet story...though completely fabricated! haha

  5. It is a true rescue, just not recent. I rescued these dogs and it's a more amazing story then the photos show. I don't know who put the story together that has travelled the world, but I wish I could thank them. Ralphie continues to touch lives even though I lost him last year. We were unable to to let him and the beagles go to other homes. The adult beagles (in the photo) are Wiggins, Hope, and Clarence and they still live with me and my ex (joint custody). Ralphie continues to touch lives through this email and through our newly founded rescue,
