All About Pets Show Starts This Friday!

Monday, April 18th, 2011 (Toronto) – The All About Pets Show knows what our pets mean to us. They are a part of our family and, as such, they deserve the best. Now in its 18th year of promoting responsible ownership, the 2011 All About Pets Show runs on Easter weekend, making it an ideal show for the whole family to enjoy. With more than 150 booths, visitors can see the latest in pet foods, rescue organizations, pet accessories, toys, treats, pet insurance, grooming products and more. From reptiles to furry friends, the All About Pets Show has something for every animal lover.

For people living with disabilities from blindness to autism, dogs are both helpful and therapeutic. On Saturday, April 23rd, at 1pm, Milkbone and National Service Dogs are please to present a service dog to help a child living with autism.

Exciting features of the All About Pets Show include: Brad Pattison host of the new hit reality show “Puppy SOS”; Dog Demonstration Ring, sponsored by Pet Valu, with the ever-popular DOCKDOGS® competition, sponsored by Royal Canin; Jazz, a show and therapy miniature horse; World of Dogs breeders showcase, sponsored by Royal Canin; Parade of Breeds, sponsored by Royal Canin; Royal Canin Championship and Household Cat Show; Centre Stage sponsored by Milk-Bone; Pet Adoption Area sponsored by Legacy Valuing Tradition; Grooming Showcase; World of Reptiles; World of Birds; Pet Fashion Show hosted by Doggie-Q and sponsored by Merrick Pet Care; and Global Pet Foods’ Total Pet Care Stage.

The All About Pets Show, produced by Showtrends, returns to the International Centre (6900 Airport Rd), from April 22-24. Admission: Adults $12; Seniors (60+) $8.00; Youths (6-17) $8.00; Children under 5 Free; Family pass (2 adults & 2 youths) $35. Regrettably, visitors are not allows to bring their pets.   1. Wasn't worth it yesterday. Poorly run, no great deals to be had and some major vendors missing. Save the entry fee and go to PetsMart or something like that to get what you need. Don't bother commenting on their Facebook site either, they'll delete the comments. I've been going for 5 years and have enjoyed it until the last 2 years. It's disappointing since it used to be such a great show!
