This event is aimed at raising money towards HAITI in the name of the new charity ItsNever2Late.org. All proceeds from the tickets and raffles will be sent to Vets Without Borders to aid their work in Haiti.
The philosophy of the organisation is to send ongoing help after immediate aid has run out, and to raise awareness about continuing conditions.
Founder of ItsNever2Late, Danielle Julien, writes:
“In the immediate time after natural disasters occur, there is an immense outpouring of aid, money, food, clothing etc. but what happens to these countries, these people and animals, 6 months after the fact?
This organization is built on the foundation of providing aid AFTER the fact, when farmers need help re-planning for the future, picking up from zero and moving on, where people who have received life-saving help, now need the tools to move forward and build up their lives.
Our memories are convenient, but this is a plea to remain aware-
Organization Motto: IN2L-It's Never Too Late ~ for International disasters [IN2L]”
Haiti is our first project, but in time, we will fundraise and set up programs in other affected areas, including Pakistan, once the eye of the world has moved on.
