OSPCA Ringworm Strain was NOT more virulent than the typical strains

The OSPCA would have you believe that the ringworm outbreak at their York Region Shelter was not only unusual but a danger to the general public. The truth is far from what they would have the public believe.

OSPCA Chairman Rob Godfrey in his own words:

“This is a different strain of ringworm,” he said. “It’s not your run-of-the-mill vanilla ringworm. There has been nothing of this magnitude in the province before. Every vet we’ve met with has never seen anything like it.”
